Doctrinal Statement

• The Bible: The sixty-six books of Scripture are alone the written, inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God;



• The Trinity: The One and only Triune, infinite and personal God exists eternally, fully, and equally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;



• The Creation: The universe, angels, and all living things were created perfect by God. The fact of this event is related simply and accurately in Genesis and is consistent with the most current and unbiased scientific research;



• The Fall of Humanity: The first man, Adam, sinned, resulting in the condemnation of all people;



• The Plan of Salvation: Jesus alone was virgin born, undiminished deity and perfect humanity, died for the sins of all, and rose again bodily;



• The Means of Salvation: We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, not by our own good works;



• The Work of the Holy Spirit: By the Spirit, believers are saved, guided into truth, & empowered to live godly lives;



• The Assurance of Salvation: All who are true believers, are born of God, and assured of eternal life;



• The Second Coming: Jesus will come again bodily and will establish His kingdom on the earth;



• The Eternal State: The saved will live in conscious bliss and the lost in conscious woe forever.

Distinctives

• Apologetics: CCA uses the classical approach to apologetics while recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of other methods.



• Revelation: CCA holds that general revelation, while not sufficient in itself, is nevertheless an essential aspect of God’s plan to draw men to Himself.
